Introducing HiMama App at Northlea
At NCCC, we believe that open lines of communication between staff and parents is essential. In an effort to improve the flow of communication, we have tried child individual daily reports in our Toddler program and used white boards in the Preschool program. Upon review of these methods, the NCCC team felt we could continue to improve and enhance the communications.
We are pleased to announce that starting September 2018, for Toddler and Preschool programs, we will use the HiMama App to communicate effectively with parents. HiMama is a Canadian technology company that developed an app allowing childcare staff and parents to have secure, daily digital communication. The HiMama App captures and shares each child’s daily report such as meals, naps, fun pictures/activities and relevant information specific to each individual child. Each parent will receive the information through their email and smartphone.
To ensure the safety and security of children in our care, parents and guardians will be required to fill out and sign a consent form. If you wish to receive the daily reports through the HiMama App, please return the signed form to us by August 29th, 2018.
